yGen2 is a program that will help you to build your own web sites.
It is especially useful when you need to avoid dealing with elements that are often repeated, like headers, menu bars, or sidebars. The program is able to generate finished files using your code and a series of templates. The resulting file can be saved as HTML, text, PHP, or CSS. You can edit re-usable parts of contents, nest them and build complex files using duplicated parts, without entering them manually. Besides, yGen2 will let you add title tags to your links, and improve your files’ visibility in search engines.
However, this program is not yet another web site editor, so you will not be able to see how your code will look, and you will need to enter all the code manually. It is designed to help you save time with repetitive structures.
It has a built-in FTP client that will allow you to upload your files to the server where they will be hosted. The program also enables you to edit CSS and include files directly, to highlight links, and to build tables using a wizard.
yGen2 is not only useful for editing HTML files, but can also be used as a standard text editor, supporting most kinds of text files, like PAD, RSS, or just plain ASCII. All you need to do is add the corresponding file extension before saving the new document. Likewise, the program includes some of the functions that you typically find in other text editors, like the "find" and "replace" features.
